In the beginning, there was nothing. It was dark and empty, but God was there. The Spirit of God was there too, moving gently. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and light came! God made the sky, the land, and the seas. He made plants, flowers, and trees. He made the sun for the day and the moon and stars for the night. God made fish to swim and birds to fly. He made animals to walk on the ground. Then God made people. God made you. God looked at everything He made, and it was very good.
Little Heart looks around and sees the world God made. Little Heart stops and takes a deep breath. Little Heart says, “Holy Spirit, help me see how good You are.” Little Heart feels happy and peaceful inside. Little Heart smiles and says, “Thank You, God, for making everything.”
