God made the whole world, and it was very good. On the seventh day, God rested. Then God made a beautiful garden called Eden. There were trees, plants, and rivers. Everything was good and full of life. God made the first man, Adam, and placed him in the garden to take care of it. God said it was not good for Adam to be alone, so God made a woman, Eve. Now Adam had a helper and a friend. They lived in God’s beautiful garden, and everything was good.
Little Heart hears this story and thinks about God’s beautiful world. Little Heart stops and takes a deep breath. Little Heart says, “Holy Spirit, help me rest and take care of what God made.” Little Heart feels calm and happy inside. Little Heart smiles and says, “Thank You, God, for caring for me and giving me people to love.”
